Any news of any PL teams needing to scramble to sell tomorrow? I know there were vague whispers of Villa and West Ham earlier in the window but are they still needing to get rid of some?
-
But we signed some sort of agreement with the PL that we would not challenge their rulings if they allowed PIF to buy Newcastle. Chelsea owners didn't. I'm not saying that stops us bending the rules in the same way, but PIF do seem pretty determined to play strictly by the rulebook.
-
Your putrid Thatcherite views on our beautiful game make me gag. We should be fighting to save our national passtime, not further entrench the downward spiral towards mass consumerist bile. How does your ideas on how we break the rules to compete help lower division sides, non league or grass roots? Oh that's right, it doesn't at all, because you don't really care about football at all. Makes me sick.
-
Great shout, they need to get 12-13 million by the end of tomorrow to avoid fines. This could be the out of nowhere signing we need to kick start this transfer window.
-
What have Betis got to do with this?
-
Just getting on the plane home with him now.

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

Yes. If only she'd had the sense to veto the acquisitions of Isak, Bruno, Tonali, Gordon, Botman, Barnes, Hall and/or Livramento, then we'd still have Elliot Anderson and the Minteh kid. Of course we wouldn't have won a trophy or been in the Champion's League twice in three years, but at least we'd be able to offer more money for Joao Pedro before being outbid by Chelsea anyway. Dreadful incompetent woman. Wish she'd never darkened the club's door. -
We're nowhere near Chelsea's way of fucking playing. They should have folded when the bent Russian fucked off. They've been insulated from suffering the effects of their rule bending and consistent underperformance on the pitch. There's not another club in world football that can finish outside European spots and then slash 200 million+ for central midfielders

DCL on a free transfer would be good business. If we’ve shown interest before this one will almost certainly happen.
-
We are owned by a nation state. We signed the AC Milan captain in an offer deemed too good to turn down. We signed Isak after Betis finished 6th in La Liga and we finished 11th. If our owners wanted. They could buy assets into Newcastle and sell it to themselves. They have the financial resources. We can hate the game. But it’s futile hating the players when we are one. And one of the worst if we’re being honest from a worldwide perspective.
-
Given we are supposedly chasing Jao Pedro, how does that make DCL an alternative if Pedro goes to Chelsea? They are completely different types of player.
-
There's no victimhood in pointing out where something is so deliberately fucking bent, like. It's a fucking outrage and an absolute affront to fair competition.
-
Osula is not ready to be a second choice striker.
-
If Simons isn't the alternative for Pedro, it does make you wonder who is. Not really been many names bandied about, even the Simons rumours have been half hearted at best.
-
Roma in trouble financially? Go get me Matias Soule and all will be forgiven, Andy.
-
Nothing stopping the club selling assets to itself. Stop being a victim. If PIF were determined too they would ruin the PL with us.
-
need a permanent countdown clock. I’m absolutely desperate for him to rejoin!
-
Basically like watching an FA cup game with a league 1 side
-
Aye, this will be whatever PSG want it to be
-
Inter Miami might get their arses handed to them here.
