  2. Usually in a two option outcome, in this case yes or no, if something was 1/8 (odds on) the other option would be around 5/1 (odds against). Mind, not many traditional bookies, bar Paddy Power, seem to offer top 5 odds, most seem to still just be doing top 4 odds, so it will be very tough outside of betting exchanges, to be able to get direct odds for Newcastle 'not to finish in the top 5'. In terms of traditional bookies, as others point out, you can't really hedge bets, because you could put £100 on Forest to make the top 5 at 4/5 and it could still be Newcastle and Forest finishing 6th and 7th, and you've wasted £100 and haven't even got the 'emotional' outcome in place of Newcastle securing their place. If someone was offering 9/2 or 5/1 for Newcastle to finish outside the top 5, which seems to be what they would be if someone was offering, then I'd definitely be putting money on because it feels really close, and Sunday is a huge match.

You just know he has 2 old mattresses piled on top of each other in the front garden instead of a trampoline for the kids. He also sets fire to old shite every night annoying the fuck out every other poor bastard who is his neighbour. Stands top less at his front gate barking at passers by, even in winter. Wouldn't piss on a mag if they were on fire etc. etc.

I heard that each Mag at work brought a single greenfly along with them, verified!!

Was there more than the half a million all the mags at work said turned out for the trophy parade though?

Haha there was actually. He's still a cunt though.
  7. When he’s getting asked about transfers he’s pretty much always going to be somewhat guarded (like most managers tbf). Watching today’s presser, if anything I felt he was upbeat, if still reserved, in relation to what we might do in the market.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Rashfords attitude has been highlighted by several managers. Even at Villa he's getting bad press for his perceived behaviour. We want absolutely nowt to do with that. This isnt an onfield hot head like Cunha who delivers on the pitch. Rashford has persistently let his side down and shown a lack of willingness to step up to the plate or showing a lack of respect to his clubs. He's got loads of talent but no thanks.
  9. There was an overwhelming amount of greenfly around yesterday to be fair.
  10. Squad cost has been delayed so the wage issue isn't relevant yet. Also they sold Duran who cost them very little so they are good. Spurs dont have a PSR issue, they have a cashflow issue, I wouldn't expect a fire sale either way. The FFP/PSR issues are overblown now anyways, Chelsea etc have shown the system can be gamed with ease so to get punished for PSR would require monumental stupidity at this point.
  11. Probably looking forward to the end of the season so he can have a couple of months away from these parasites who claim to be journalists.
  12. Man City 3-1 Wolves Villa 2-2 Fulham Everton 1-1 Ipswich Leicester 0-2 Southampton Arsenal 3-0 Bournemouth Brentford 2-2 Man Utd Brighton 1-2 Newcastle West Ham 1-1 Spurs Chelsea 0-2 Liverpool Palace 2-1 Forest
  13. Man United's problem will more likely be finding buyers rather than forced sales.
  14. They'll get Champions League football which will make them less vulnerable to forced sales
  15. He’s still been one of their better performers, in a proper bat shit club that’s had no tactical nous or coaching for years. Rashford gets a proper weird bashing by many across the country.
  16. Where do we even begin with this? The overly large, empty football in the centre which is devoted to your rivals, the Tyne Bridge from Temu or the tragic fact that Kevin Phillips is still their undisputed best player of all time.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I honestly think someone like Man United could have PSR issues, or at the very least, might need to sell in order to raise funds for the likes of Cunha. Remember the "willing to sell anyone" craic in January from them? I know its not the position we need but I'd test their resolve with Mainoo. Imagine the player Howe could turn him into and Man United would consider it pure profit. More than anything else I just want to see their outrage. There's alot of clubs out there that I just can't see needing to sell. Alot of talk about Bournemouth but surely offloading Huijsen/Kerkez would be enough for them? West Ham? Maybe they've run the Rice sale dry. Where's the league table of wages? That will surely be a large indicator?

    Joe Willock

Big chance for Willock these final few games. Hope he steps up and makes the most of it. Would be nice going into the summer knowing we can count on him going forward.
