Hate the circulation of all the badges. Such a lame excuse that it will make the crest easier and cheaper to print on things. I'm spending 100 quid on a single t-shirt, one covered with ads, the least you can do is print one fucking badge on it.

Not half as confident as everyone else seems to be on here about them getting beat by Coventry tonight. Think Coventry are the best, well certainly in the best form, of the 4, however Sunderland have performenrd well this season and have been the better side in pretty much every game they've played on Sky this year when I've watched. Coventry beat them a few weeks ago (same weekend as our cup final in fact) so see why they're faves, but so many examples of where something like that has happened , then it's the big game and the other team wins. Basically I've felt Sunderland will win the play offs for the last few months, think they'll turn up and win all 3 games, unfortunately.

Yet another we should have signed at the time. He'd be perfect in a midfield with Tonali and Bruno.

Will be absolutely chub on if Coventry win by 3+ tonight. See the SoL half empty as usual for the return leg, or even better be near full capacity but then people desert at HT when they’re 1 down in 2nd leg.

I'd say Beefy but that was early 90s

Nowt against the current crest but it does need a revamp. It’s very much of it’s time (late 80s when football clubs got a serious hard-on for shields), and it’s a lot more intricate than most of those that remain for that period. They just need to modernise the 70s magpie crest. Of the ones we’ve had it conforms most closely to modern design sensibilities, and it’s fucking mint.

I think the magpie one is definitely the closest to the prevailing style in the modern game. A modern version of that could be really good.

I can see us going back to one of the old circular badges. It’s maybe no coincidence both the old crests have appeared on our shirts this season
