  1. Past hour
  2. We were definitely in our best moment of the season in that game. Everything was clicking and all the important players were fit and healthy. Was also the early stages still of the midfield 3 set up in the new positions and teams weren't quite sure how to deal with it. It was also around the time we started a pattern of getting a head and then seemingly slowing down in 2nd halves. Still not sure how much of it was conserving energy or if we were just running out of gas and losing control of games a little bit. To be fair to him, Mainoo made a big difference when he came on. But we have seen out leads pretty comfortably this season so you have to give Howe some credit and assume it was mostly by design.
  3. Aye he should have. The build up was sublime for the move though. I'm sure I said it on here at the time but I genuinely think it's the best 20 minutes I've ever seen from an away team at Old Trafford. Hoping our games are closer in scoreline next season.
  4. If that's him fully fit last half a season God help the next team that has him
  5. STM

    Callum Wilson

Hes a PL striker with an ego, of course he's disappointed he's not starting. He knows fine well he's not as good as Isak but he's not going to say it. Wish him all the best, thanks for making the Bruce era less torturous than it could have been, good look in the future. We move on.
  6. JT24

    Callum Wilson

Being fit for four and a half months is a big achievement to be fair to him.
  7. I do think Man City will do it, but it's funny how much we're taking it as a given that the team playing the worst football out of everyone involved will make it.
  8. If you’re that disappointed, Cal, then maybe go on strike. Not that we’d notice the difference anyway.
  9. Bryan Ruiz?!? Fire up the chopper
  10. Crazy if he really is disappointed to not be starting ahead of Isak. Also great surprise that he’s financially stable after earning millions of pounds per year
  11. He's actually a proper Karen ain't he
  12. Yep. Tonali makes it 0-3 and it’s probably a case of how many. However he missed. Man Utd adjusted the midfield and should’ve been 2-2 with 2 great chances/bad misses. 2nd half Man Utd were the better team and created more. Think hitting the post late on which if that goes in a draw was salvageable. That Tonali chance was pivotal. Should’ve buried it.
  13. Man City v Bournemouth, are they able to do us a favour and at least draw this to talr a bit of heat away. or are City dead on to win .
  14. He’s leaving us because of lack of opportunity. Sure, great, whatever works.
  15. Good pickup for them - solid player
  16. Lotus

    Anthony Gordon

Think the assist stat can be a bit unfair as it relies on another player to do the hardest thing to do on the pitch. Gordon put 2 balls across the box on Sunday that I reckon Murphy would’ve been in on (no guarantee of a shot on target, obvs).Barnes didn’t make the run. Isak has been a bit in and off. Gordon may have a couple more assists if Isak had been sharper/fitter.
  17. There's also a chance that it gets reduced to 2 points on appeal, which would mean Samp are still down, but Brescia are in the play off instead of safe.
  18. Only just seen Villa’s away record at Old Trafford, it’s terrible. I think they drop points.
  19. Krul is currently building a house just outside Norwich as his 'retirement' home. He offered his services to NUFC last year when we were in the market for another GK and it was a two horse race but Howe always favoured Ruddy as he's known him years and really likes his character. A race made even more interesting because Ruddy and Krul are best mates . Krul thinks he'd struggle with the demands of playing a full season now though so is worried about being number 1 at Luton next season. The current number 1 is leaving afaik. He's on too much money for L1 level. He'd have jumped at the chance to come back to NUFC.

    "Calcio!" Serie A

In the most Italian Football way possible, Sampdoria may potentially be spared relegation from Serie-B, Brescia who finished in 15th, just above the relegation play-out, have been found to have financial irregularities, and it has been recommended they have a 4 point deduction, with the league meeting on Thursday to decide it that fits the crime. If they do, Brescia will fall to 18th, below Sampdoria, and be automatically relegated, with Salernitana and Frosinone moving up a spot as well, meaning instead of Salernitana vs. Frosinone competing in the play-out, it'll be Sampdoria vs. Salernitana instead, with Frosinone just being completely safe. The first leg of the Salernitana vs. Frosinone game, which was scheduled for tonight, has been postponed until after the meeting on Thursday, which singles it may be very likely happen.
  21. I just think that was always the path - needing to beat Everton to secure CL but it being in our hands. With a bit of luck we could’ve won at Brighton or drawn Arsenal, had we setup more defensive against Villa maybe got a result there but the 1 point we got was a pivotal point. Villa and Chelsea have done better than I expected but Forest and City have done worse so we’ve landed about the same. We are in a great position. After the announcement I don’t expect Doucoure to start or play meaningful minutes. Would assume he doesn’t want to get injured.

  23. Really not sold on Kelleher one bit.
