Made the right changes to the starting team and the rest/impetus it gave Almiron coming on as a fresh sub against tiring legs thankfully won us the game. Do feel he's being very cautious with Isak, but hopefully that's cemented his starting place today and if he uses Wilson to manage Isak's minutes then that's fine, despite him doing nowt yet again. Was a bit of a mixed bag today in terms of performance - class in patches, rubbish in others, but I said earlier today was about winning in any way possible which we did, just about. Now to build on it and hopefully go on an unbeaten run again

Feels like he's been grafting away but flogging a dead horse for weeks, suddenly being rested and brought on as fresh legs and he has that impact again. Delighted for him.

Feels like this is his proper breakthrough performance. He's been busy, stretching the play, held it up well and linked well with those around them. And the goal was a superb headed finish on top. Not afraid to take a shot either and hits it well with power. He's so much better than the current version of Wilson.

Miles better having Isak, ASM and even Murphy in there. Good half that, best in weeks.

No complaints from me. Murphy isn't the long term answer but his recent cameos have been canny and Almiron looks like he needs a rest. Can only assume Gordon would have started if he was available. Understand the continuity aspect of the back four but Burn really needs to have a solid game today.

He needs to sit down minimum 2/3 of Wilson, Almiron and Burn today IMO. If it's unchanged from last week it feels stubborn and whilst the loyalty is admirable it's too much. It needs freshening up.

Yeah, that doesn't look offside to me and the Soccer Saturday lot were absolutely stunned by it. Yet more proof that the lines are either drawn in random ad-hoc fashion or the angle is adjustable to suit a certain narrative, depending on your viewpoint.
