  1. What needs to happen now is: We go three nil up at the break. Then bring on the guns in the second half; Marveaux, Barf and Santon and just set up the firing squad
  2. Need to score seven past these turds without reply to go third. There's your motivation lads, break their hearts
  3. Just read through twenty minutes worth of January 2011 deadline day chat in this thread. We've come a long way and not just as a team. A lot of people seemed at crisis point. If you'd said we'd be here in this position now at that point, I'd have told you to fuck off
  4. If he ever has any plans to leave, operation inception begins
  5. Get rid of Junior, but not so bad that he can't sign for us in a few months time
  6. They gave us £30m up front and I reckon we'll get the other five in this window coming up.
  7. Hope Rodallega has a shocker. He's capable of some really nice football and is erratic. He's the kind of player that isn't ruined by the fact that those around him are so bad... 3-1 Newcastle (Ba, Cabaye, Arfa)
  8. I think he'd be quality for us again some day but right now I wouldn't want him in the team. I think we're becoming a more mobile team and I'm not talking about the pace of our players but the movement of them. While Carroll isn't slow at all, I really think we'd struggle to play as expansive a style of play with him in the team. He hasn't looked as hungry for the ball at Liverpool and isn't adored by their fans in the way he was here, this has added to his shit play there. I still think he'll improve and become a massive player in the PL but now's not the right time for him here
  9. This story just went up a level, that's the kind of twist you'd expect from an episode of Breaking Bad.

Selfish cunt, obviously only thinks about himself. Even now he's tweeting shit like 'life isn't fare' when he should be saying, 'I'm a disgusting piece of shit for putting others in danger'. Can't wait until he's no longer at this club, I reckon it won't be long now
  11. One West Ham fan I've heard talking about it seemed to think that if they got it they would quickly rise to the top and challenge the best because of how huge they would suddenly become. The same bloke was also saying that most of the other clubs in England request not to play on the same day as West Ham because they're so huge already mind so I think we can move that to one side. Sounds like he's been infected by the Sam A-Virus

He's still a complete bellend. Unfortunately he must be rated by the staff after his series of transgressions
  13. It's not really the point for me though, they change their minds every few days so they can write a good story instead of actually trying to gauge things over the long-term. I just really dislike the way they target teams and managers and I'm not even talking about NUFC here. I don't like the way they've treated Beckham at times or Wenger. Even people like Mclaren and Capello, I may not like them as managers but ss soon as they become a pack hunting after some one there's something disgusting about it.
  14. They can call it what they want. It's up to us to put in some performances against the top teams. If we manage to do that, they'll start sucking us off like they did with Tottenham. I can't stand the media for the most part, especially sports journalists. Generally just a bunch of fickle, spineless pricks who don't know what they're talking about. They are incredibly vocal when they're on a bandwagon and trying to destroy people's careers but are shit scared to make bold claims. It's the same with pundits on the television, they hardly ever say it like it is and as soon as a player becomes 'one of the chosen ones' a good touch by them is incredible where other players could do the same and get no recognition.... Can't wait for the fall of the dictatorial press
  15. They think that because they've recently got two of our key players off us. What they don't seem to realise is that we're stronger now and will find it easier to hold onto our players, most of our best players are on long-term contracts anyway and it would take massive offers to get hold of them. I think teams will be far more frugal in the January transfer window this year compared to last. What they should be talking about on their forum is not our transfers but their own, they should find a way to stop spending ridiculous amounts on players who really don't deserve it. If they can't, they'll continue to fall away

    Sunderland...

At the pawn shop trying to sell off all his NETD merchandise
  17. That prick thompson said we'd get relegated. Stupid ponce, there should be some sort of quota system on bad calls as a pundit. If you make too many awful predictions which obviously show you have no idea what you're talking about, you should be banned from all major radio and television shows
  18. I think he'll definitely turn out better than Martins. I'd love to see Marv in the team and Obertan out at the moment but I still think Obertan has many of the pieces necessary to be a very good winger. He's young, has pace, can whip a ball in and is developing into that role. The only problem is, Marveaux is the better player.
  19. He can't help it. Can you imagine what he must have been like at school? Must have been unbearable. I think he'll become more and more popular with age and become a 'loveable' figure. It's just a relief to not have him tweeting any shit from behind the scenes. I wonder how many 'the spirit is unbelievable' comments there'd have been, had he stayed with us
  20. Makes you realise just how pathetic West Ham were last season. They had the juggernaut in their team steaming in and scoring goals for fun and they still got relegated. Joke of a team

    Alan Pardew

If that was his line, that's quality. What a lad. Pardew seems to be devoid of negativity. He almost never says a bad word about anything. Rarely complains about decisions where other managers might. He's a good lad

The only ones really playing above themselves though are arguably R.Taylor & Best. The others are all very good players or playing as expected (Simpson, Obertan...) Before the start of the season, I think most thought was Saylor was a real liability, he's improved massively in my opinion. The same goes for Raylor, there were times today that he looked really solid. I don't know if you can say he got the most out of Shola today, it was just one of Shola's typical one-in-ten performances. Best, I always rated, but he's looked more and more confident and now is a genuine striking option as a starter rather than some desperate option after several injuries. Apart from that, I agree, the first eleven is strong and people are playing at their natural level. This little period since the middle of August has been bizarre even to me. I thought we'd prove a lot of people wrong and play some good football but I didn't expect it so soon and I really thought Enrique going would weaken us far more than it has done. On the cheap, we've managed to become a really tight team with a bit of technical nuance and creativity. November could trash us up a bit but the foundations are there for a really strong team here

    Alan Pardew

I do think he gets the best out of weaker players. That's something only good managers can do
  24. Dream scenario is us getting a pounding in the first half, Pardew brings on the artillery: Santon, Marv, Arfa and we start to dominate, winning in the last five minutes
