Cajun
He wasn't steady, he was pretty shit. Still might be ok at this level.
TRon
He wasn't steady, he was pretty shit. Still might be ok at this level. He'd do a job but surely there are other options who could potentially make the grade if we did get promotion?
Mattoon
He wasn't steady, he was pretty s***. Still might be ok at this level. He'd do a job but surely there are other options who could potentially make the grade if we did get promotion? Out with Bassong, in with O'Brien, who said it was all doom and gloom! Yorkie
Can't believe he's only 29. I'd probably take him on the cheap though he'd be far from my first choice.
Unlucky Luque
29?? He was old when we were playing champions league football! Is he half Nigerian?
Yorkie
Campbell, Taylor, Coloccini, O'Brien. I'd be satisfied with that as our CB squad.
TRon
29?? He was old when we were playing champions league football! Is he half Nigerian? Well, if Nolan can get away with claiming to be 26 why not?
toontownman
Rather have williamson from watford. Without knowing anything about him. The return of big nose wouldn't be that bad though. Like yorkie says taylor, colo, campbell and o'brien would be a canny central defence pool, would give the likes of tozer and kadar another year or so to develop too. Ronaldo
29?? He was old when we were playing champions league football! Is he half Nigerian? According to Bobby he was a talented young player when he left in 2004
toontownman
Yeah but when he said andy obrien he was thinking about woodgate.

AlanSkÃrare
If these rumours about players who "would have signed for Shearer" are true I think we'll be signing good players when/if he comes in anyway. Not too bothered about missing out on Campbell..
Ketsbaia
i think skybet had beckford signing for newcastle at 18-1.....its very tempting

afar
One of my least favourite players to play for the club in recent times, I hope Obrien gets nowhere near a return here. If we get Sol in then I think our policy needs to switch to young and hungry, we've got enough experience in the squad.
