why have we just announced to our opposition that our goalkeeper is injured and Elliott will play,  that has surely just given Southamptons coaching staff 24 hours to get out the videos,  look at Elliotts weaknesses and work out how they can exploit them.

It's ridiculous, like. Especially when everyone knows how shit Elliott is.

Enrique got slaughtered for it when he announced an injury.

EXCLUSIVE: Juventus line up bid for Newcastle keeper Tim Krul

JUVENTUS want Newcastle United keeper Tim Krul to replace legendary Italian international Gianluigi Buffon.

The Italian giants are planning for the future in the knowledge that their 36-year-old skipper and holder of 139 caps can’t go on forever.

Krul is the player they have earmarked as Buffon’s eventual successor and are poised to make a £10million bid in the summer for the Dutch international.

We'll snap their hands off if there's any hint of truth about that article.

Fucking free money that, we paid fuck all for him. 100% pure profit, get it in the fucking till.

Krul is a decent keeper, but hes by no means champions league quality. His distribution is poor and he makes a lot of mistakes.

Not right now, but at a club that doesn't have poundland coaches he would improve, I expect Ronaldo is right that Buffon is going nowhere though.

Buffon's got another 5 years in him. If he goes there he'll be sitting on the bench, and for a while.

Doubt he's got 5 years at the top of his game left. Will probably be like Toldo at Inter where he (Buffon) will be the Nr. 2 then and Krul as Nr. 1

Buffon hasn't got 5 years left in him for a team like Juventus like.

Hit a ceiling in quality while his form has dipped (not sure if injuries have taken their toll already) We will have done well to get double figures for him.

Still the only player I'd be sad to see go from this shower of shite. :(

He's just turned 36. I can easily see him starting for a fair few seasons yet.

Any player with a modicum of ambition must want to leave Newcastle once they realise the vision of the club is profit for Mike Ashley and the football is a secondary concern. Krul needs to move before his career stagnates. He's not half the keeper he should have been at this stage of his career.
