He has the talent but he has to know when to pick a pass. Always laugh at players like Ronaldo for example, when he decides to go on his own rather than to pass or to shoot from the half way line instead of a pass.

Always think "their fans have to be really angry at him at times". Don't want that in our team.

He has to become a team player. There are always times when he can show a special moment of extra class. But 80 of 90 minutes he should play like a team player.

You don't have to worry about that...he's a good team player.

He wasn't good today...that's all...

I think he think that he can do great things for the team...but he's just not ready yet...

No big deal!

Will come very good no worries, very difficult to jump in from the bench, especially in a game like this, been out for ages and desperate to impress during the minutes he got, that's probably why he kept it too long sometimes, he was desperately looking and wanted to find the oppurtunity to make something "wow" to happen. Will probably be a lot more relaxed when he starts his first game (perfect against wigan imo) Then he will look much more in the flow and making the game tick with some moments of brilliance.

No real problem with him losing the ball when taking on and trying to beat players. Not a fan of those times where he lulled our attack to an absolute halt with the ball at his feet on the wings. Happened a good few times.

Hopefully just a by product of getting back into things.

Just got back. He didn't join in the goal celebrations , didn't clap at the end of the game or speak with any of the players and ran off down the tunnel. Very worrying and disappointing.

Didn't celebrate his goal against Everton either. We're fucked.

Pretty sure I saw him do a small celebration when Ameobi scored then darted into the goal to collect the ball?

Gave the ball away in dangerous areas today that almost cost usby trying to do too much and holding onto the ball for too long.

Probably trying too hard due to him being out for so long.

This is it tbh.

Of course it is,and he's only getting 20 mins every week. Over 90 mins we'll see a different player imo

Clapped and smiled at the fans in the warm up.

I think Defoe pissed him off was all.

Didn't celebrate his goal against Everton either. We're f***ed.

He was pissed off with Defoe, but he was the only outfield player who didn't join in with Shola. He came across as though he wasn't part of the group. We had a grandstand finish and he couldn't get down the tunnel quick enough. Nowt like Everton at all.

Whatever it is, it needs sorting.

Looks really good on the ball and really quick.

But he had a bit of the Santiago-syndrome about him at times. Was desperate to not have to let go of the ball and found myself screaming at him to pass to Jonas/whoever was further forward on a couple of occasions.

Needs to find his place in the team and find his feet with the rest of the players. As has been said, he realised the situation today and was simply trying to get the winner and nothing else. He's obviously going to be a great player to have in the squad, but it's going to take time. Rustiness and eagerness to impress are halting him at the moment, as well as the manager choosing to put Obertosh in the side ahead of him.
