Dinho lad
Bit quiet in here.
Yorkie
He's rough around the edges but I love having Sammy in the team, tbh. I still think he's got the potential to be a really good player and he's well worth his place in the side atm. Whether he'll ever reach the heights of England's best other wingers remains to be seen - but he's a Premier League standard player without question. EthiGeordie
He is miles better than his brother. Hope he will continue to be useful for us.
Varadi
His all-round game is visibly improving as he gets more time on the pitch, hope the progress continues, could be a very good player for us if he keeps it up.
Guest Recoba
Good outlet and seems to be developing into his body a but better. Looked nackered at the end.
KaKa
This guy is so talented. Just need to keep playing him, and it will show more.
Cronky
He seems to be releasing the ball early more often. It's always tempting for a young player who is good at beating his opponent, to try doing it all the time. He's getting over that.
Pilko
He's gradually improving his all-round game and is starting to show some end product; goals and assists are coming now. He's worth having.
toonpete1892
In amongst a few Ameobi moments he had a strong game. Defensively he importantly found himself in the right place at the right time quite a few times and is growing as a PL wide man. Still day dreams a little and allows them to overlap but I'm not sure how much of that is tactics as he isn't alone in doing so.
Aiston
One of our best yesterday, excellent defensively and very good offensively. Lots of good linking up play too.
Mole_Toonfan
He's gradually improving his all-round game and is starting to show some end product; goals and assists are coming now. He's worth having. He's always been talented, but frustrating due to some erratic decision making on the pitch. If he can improve in that regard permanently he's a good player. Newcastle Fan
Love Sammy, got him in my fantasy team this week and rewarded me with an assist, hope he keeps improving.

joeyt
Without trying to sound all Pardew, he was excellent defensively yesterday, especially in the first half when he regularly won the ball

AyeDubbleYoo
I thought he was crap yesterday but so many people have said otherwise I must've missed something.
ponsaelius
He worked hard and set up the winner. I'm not sure he was great though, I couldn't believe he didn't go off when Cabella did because he looked (as usual) knackered. Fair play to him though for the winner. I'm still not convinced by him at all, but I have to say I like him a hell of a lot more than other supposedly better players we've had over the years. He's likeable, an academy product and he does good things.
Kanji
Aarons or Him wide left going forward unless we sign another LW with pace.
Unbelievable
I thought he was crap yesterday but so many people have said otherwise I must've missed something. I rated him more than most before this season, but I agree with you Ian. Yesterday certainly wasn't anywhere near his best game for us.
Tiotes Witch Doctor
Did nothing going forward apart from a very cool, calm weighted pass to Sissoko for the winner so can't complain too much, as others have said he was excellent defensively as well. He just still seems so raw, not sure if that's an experience thing or just that hes an Ameobi.
tgarve
There was a point in the second half where he tracked back about 50 yards and won the ball. As much as I am slagging him for having no stamina it showed great character .
ponsaelius
Terrible today. I want him to do well but he's just not good enough. Can see him getting released in the summer.
