AyeDubbleYoo
Excellent name.
Deuce
Chris Wood would have been good (instead of Graham, that is). Yep, Leicester got themselves a nice player.
BottledDog
Excellent name. Still a fan of Mouhamadou Habib Habibou myself.
Disco
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/sunderland-line-up-loan-move-1546368? Mauro Zarate?
Mole_Toonfan
I don't rate him personally, has talent but has the brain the size of a garden pea ( and thats being nice) none the less the situation we are in means i can't really be fussy when it comes to possible targets. matta
We should be all out for Marko Marin(loan). And get a CB(mbiwa) and maybe de jong in. I would like to think we'd have a chance then. And a fit Ben Arfa
sempuki
Gouffran would seem to tick the boxes - fast, versatile, French and should be relatively inexpensive due to contract ending in the Summer.
toontownman
Thought gouffran was obertan #2? is he actually decent? Not seen much of him.
sempuki
Thought gouffran was obertan #2? is he actually decent? Not seen much of him. Apparently having a good season and probably as quick as Obertan with a lot more composure. Not a scorer like Ba though.
toontownman
If he is really available for 3m seems worth a punt. Should bring someone else in aswell though.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
After Cisse our other strikers aren't even Championship quality. To bring in Gouffran for £3m would massively improve the quality of our striker choice. We had better have the feelers out for players who are available to loan. If NUFC fail to buy the players we need but then also fail to loan anyone then they haven't even tried to save our Premier League status.

toontownman
Bent is too old for us surely, 29 in two weeks.
chicago_shearer
I don't want Darren Bent, but signing someone with some level of experience in the Premier League might not be the worst idea in the world given the current set of circumstances. An immediate impact is needed. There are plenty of young (French) players to develop and sell-on for a profit in the future. If the club balk at the price tags for proven PL talent, they may want to consider it an investment in preserving PL income (TV, gates etc.)

Skeletor
Michael. @MDnewcastle Darren Bent to #Nufc ?? @MsiDouglas @lee_ryder Mark Douglas @MsiDouglas @MDnewcastle @lee_ryder Been 200 denials so far, may as well make this 201. No chance.
Guest
Maybe Le Fondre's French sounding surname might trick us into signing him as a back up striker.
Stifler
I'd take Bent, but only on a loan deal.
toontownman
He can't play alongside cisse he won't swap Bench at villa for bench here and he is 29 in two weeks. No goer if you ask me. If we got aubermayeng first I would be happy with bent for back up. Moot point though for the points above.
LooneyToonArmy
I'd take Bent, but only on a loan deal. same here but I doubt they'd loan him to one of their 'relegation rivals'............they're just gonna have to pay him to sit on the stands for the rest of the season (if the appearance clause as reported is correct) Pardew was in charge when Bent was at Charlton (taking over from Curbishley) so could be some element of truth in the rumour
Ikon
We might as well talk about Messi.
