It doesn't buy you much these days so it just gives the impression they don't have much in the way of financial resources to compete properly. If it's 60m net then it could get a lot, keep in my mind only City, Man Utd and Chelsea spent more last summer. Also £60m on 3 players this window would have us fighting fit..sell some fringe next summer and start bringing in a player a window and we're laughing. It doesn't take much to maintain us, just a tad of ambition. Tbh you'll claw a lot back having the clubs merchandise back under its own banner and it'll rocket knowing you aren't putting money in to Ashley's pocket. Agree. having said that, Ulker and Yildaz Holdings companies are fucking massive. Had no idea they also own Godiva.
