Tisd09
Looks tired to be fair. Missed Tiote today. I expect we'll see better from Anita.
Gallowgate Toon
He's been fine apart from the penalty, harsh lesson but he's also tracked Hazard well and kept him relatively quiet. He's a good player and it's not been a mess of a debut. One assist, one goal in one half An assist being a simple pass and the goal being a penalty? He's had the odd moment in the half but he's hardly shredded us to pieces like some are suggesting. If its a simple pass then surely he should have it covered, and it was a pen he gave away. He was canny s*** in that spell, but im not going to lose sight in that its his debut, against a good side with unknown attacking quality and he had 90mins in mad heat 48 hours ago. I don't think anyone is assigning him to the scrap heap after one game, but you can only comment on what you've seen. There's nothing wrong with tbh Why should he be covering the pass when Hazard was with the 2 centre backs on the edge of the box? Also being 'kept quiet' refers to open play not penalties, a spot kick that Hazard didn't win I might add. He nicked it off him a good 4 or 5 times and tracked him endlessly, to put it simply he did the majority of his role well and wasn't disastrous at all. Jayson
He'll come good, learnt a lesson today. Cabaye gave a pen away in one of his first games last season aswell or a backpass that lead to one anyway. Cant remember.

Yorkie
He's going to be a good player for us once he gets used to the pace of the division.
Guest palnese
think this one will turn into a fantastic signing.

Fenham Mag
His name lends to a good complain when he messes up. Oh Vur-nonnn.
Ikon
Just from the little i saw today, i think he's gonna be class.
Ketsbaia
Liked his performance today. Silly for the penalty though - you shouldn't give Torres the opportunity to do an Olympic dive like that.

Lets not be stupid here, it was you who said he did a good job on Hazard not me. The pen is still his fault whichever way your try to gloss it. Gallowgate Toon
So Anita should have been tracking Hazard on the edge of the the box while a CB was already marking him? That would have left us with a bit of a numerical disadvantage. Whatever way you try to gloss it, Hazard scoring a penalty has no relation at all with Anita keeping him fairly quiet in open play for large parts of the game, this isn't particularly difficult to comprehend. Dokko
So when hazard is around him it's Anita's ability that shines, when he's not it's someone else's fault, while the rest of what he does that game doesn't matter?
Dr.Spaceman
I thought he was poor, it doesn't matter why, he's barely been here 2 weeks. He'll come good man, he's showed glimpses.
BONTEMPI
Give this lad another 10 games under his belt and he'll start to shine. Problem with our midfield compared to the top 4 sides is how solid they are at the back. Our players are often restricted because they know they've got to double up quickly to help out an average right and left back. Get some real quailty and we'll see our midfield pushing that bit further forward.
Geordie Ahmed
A silly mistake for the pen BUT I have no doubts he is going to be class for us
Alberto2005
Not worried about him tbh, he's going to be good. We know who's shit, and they need replacing immediately.
alexf
without the penalty I'd have said he'd done ok but was obviously a little caught out by the pace of the game and a little fatigued from thursday. Saying that though, I can't stand seeing penalty's like that, Torres 100% playing for it and worst of all he was about to run straight into colo. shame but onwards and upwards. SteveMc
He must have been knacked. Playing all of both those games. Good job we didn't really need him
Dr Venkman
Reminds me a little bit of Cabaye at the start of last season, just not used to the rhythm yet, he'll be fine.
Mole_Toonfan
Penalty incident aside which was very naive i thought he had a good game.
Sifu
A harsh lesson for him today. He really shouldn't have stuck a leg out in the penalty area - it gives a striker a reason to go to ground. I'm sure he'll learn from this mistake like. We have got a good player on our hands so I'm already looking forward to seeing him in action again
prefabtoon
Anita so called top midfielder. He just has not impressed for what I have seen of him so far. School boy error lashing out inside the area, His touch is at best average I just cannot see him commanding the midfield in the premier league he is far too small. Maybe an average squad player at best. As for the lack of any signings this window we are not going anywhere with ashley. Bargain basement will not advance the club. Chelsea dont mess about if they want a player the bid and get that player, Ashley goes in low and leaves a final bid that is still low. We are and always will be a selling club with no ambition,
