They ship 2 or 3 goals at Arsenal and they'll definitely be looking over their shoulder at the weekend.  Found dick's comments about being safe a bit weird, considering

Any Sunderland fan who thinks we're safe needs a slap. 11 points from the last 15 has given us a fighting chance though, so I'm reasonably pleased. My mood may be very different after the Arsenal game.

After tonight, Mourinho won't let Chelsea lose against the mackems.  Up to Arsenal to get a few past them, then us not to lose.

Aye, I'm clutching at straws

Could be our best chance tbh

Appointing an actual manager worked out for them.

Fancy that.

Whoa there, Shaquille. Tactical acumen and man management skills are nothing in the face of Passion and DNA.

You create your own luck. They're scrappers, always have been, like bacteria that won't die even after a nuclear apocalypse and a new ice age. Their owner knows appointing actual managers, for however short a period, inevitable leads to a boost in points, ensuring survival.

Ours gives the keys to the cone handler.

yet another season points from us saved them

Will put money on them going down next season if we go down on Sunday. No way they will manage without our 6 free points :)

Since Advocaat was appointed: P8 W3 D3 L2. 12 points.

Carver has 10 points from 18 matches.

He's had 3 major fuck ups since January. Drawing 3-3 with Burnley at SJP, Leicester hammering us, and QPR last week.

A result in any of these would of done it. Suppose he will get another chance to beat QPR and Burnley in the championship.

He's fucking had more than 3 major fuck ups. Double figures at least.

As someone said earlier the crazy bastards had the audacity to appoint an actual honest to god manager not an air licking retard and it's paid off.
