It puts perfectly into words why I can't stand him. We've often been shit and always been ultimately unsuccessful, but he's sucked the fun out of following the club. I love his theory about Chris Hughton being unable to live up to previous home form, versus Pardew's attempts to always make each game a bore-fest. Same could be said about Roeder starting well and actually quite thrillingly, and also periods of other poor manager's reigns. Pardew doesn't let excitement last. Thats half his issue with coming out in the 2nd half playing so defensively. He cant blame it on player/team ability when we see their capabilities for 45 minutes.
