Doesn't Moncur still appear magically at about 1pm for home games to circulate in the corporate areas? Other clubs call them 'club ambassadors' or some such shit - basically a familiar (successful/famous) face who does the rounds to make the people who've paid more for their tickets feel a bit more important than the rank and file. They think they're rubbing shoulders with a bit of an NUFC celeb and he has an active role on matchdays.

Would explain why his tongue is brown.

He's consistent, I'll give him that much.

Resources given to him...like Ben Arfa when he was shit hot in the run in? But wait no...he's lazy...and I'd guess Cisse is since Pardew no longer likes him either.

Nice to see Wulbert getting some love for his piece. Superb article which smashes the fuck out of the nail, squarely on the head. :)

We may be on the opposite ends of the tolerance scale but I would love it if Wullie was the final nail in Pardew's coffin

Alternatively, he was doing well whilst Kinnear was here & it all fell to shit once he left.  Or, just perhaps, he's a poor manager who can sometimes do well when there are others around to cover for his inadequacies.

"Bob Moncur: Very sad that Alan Pardew abuse has been way over the top"

:anguish: pls club legends stop dis

Having played and captained the club and observed the years since, I would say that my knowledge might be slightly more in-depth than the average person."

...

Now as far the “Pardew out” campaign I think it has been a bit too strong.

He still after all is the manager of Newcastle United. As I said previously we should always support the man in that position.

And I think the reaction in this paper was too strong in my humble opinion with the pictures of fans saying “Pardew out” from all over the world.

There’s no doubt that there has been a downward slide at the club but we are going to finish no worse than 10th.

Who should Newcastle have finished ahead of this season?

Man City? Liverpool? Man United? Arsenal? Chelsea?

Seriously, remove this man from public spaces. He's fucking dangerous.

Should always support the man in position?  Fuck him.  If the man is a bellend of the highest order, then he deserves to be treated as such.  This is exactly why humans will never come very close to reaching democratic ideals.  Unconditional support is for colossal idiots.

Perhaps the more pertinent reasoning is that Cabaye was pulling the strings on the pitch, despite Pardew to warrant a move to a bigger club with ambition and once Pardews public parading of Cabaye's availability came to fruition he once again had to rely on his own ineptitude but with a perfect excuse?

Both articles are pretty great. Quite astonishing how many people comment without reading them properly, like.

They probably do read them properly, being able to read and being able to comprehend are two totally different things.
