He had a squad of cunts. I don't give a shit how much they were signed for and how much they were paid. As many on here pointed out, the rot was/is deep. It was never going to be an overnight fix and people knew this.

9 months is not a long time for someone to completely change the fortunes of a football club. Yes, it needs to get better, but it's early days.

As I said earlier, say we get 7 points from the next three games. The noise goes away. Lets just wait and see.

Bit like how the noise died down after the early March run (Ipswich win, Arsenal draw, Leicester win, mixed in with 2 good displays against Soceidad). Which was then followed by no league wins in 8.

How often is the cunt squad going to be rolled out as a defence of the manager though. Guy when he took over had Rashford, Antony and Garnacho in the cunt stakes if that's what we're going with. Two were bombed out in Jan and had no part ever since, then Garnancho played loads and only went into cunt squad list because of his fall out from the Europa final :D Everyone else are like new players from recent times. Can't be using that as a reason for the rot is deep, or you are effectively saying another squad needs blowing up. Is Hojlund now part of the cunt squad? Ugarte, Dalot etc. all too because they're not good enough?

I admire the optimisim and dedication, and long may it continue. Because the longer he stays there with his negative attitude, the more damage it does and the longer it will hold Man Utd back.

Should he even be reliant on transfer windows if he's all that as a coach?  Nothing stopping him at least showing some signs of improvement in the interim, Howe noticeably improved us whilst Man United have gotten worse. That's usually what you expect from managers whilst giving them time. Its not just time for the sake of it. Though because of the new rules it makes no difference to them whereas our sticking with Dalglish, Souness was setting us further back in the biggger picture by the week.

We looked much better coached and organised the very first time we played 3atb under Howe. The idea that he needs more time because he's only had a year to try and make the formation he 'specialises' in work is laughable.

His record there should actually be even worse based on performances alone, it's only really individual talent and launching it to Harry Maguire that has got them the few points they have under him.

The bit I don't get with Amorim is that he's so fixated on this formation, he's made it clear that he isn't going to shift away from it

Fair enough, may not agree with being so rigid but I can accept it, however the formation he plays it's massively important to have legs in midfield, you need to have someone dynamic otherwise as is often the case with them they lose the midfield battle as they get outnumbered

With how crucial that role is surely instead of chucking over £200m on attackers the smart move was to get in that CM, that should have been the first order of play, then the attackers can come afterwards. Right now if they struggle and the fans turn he might need see another window to get that CM in

You would have thought he would have addressed those CM positions but they went and front loaded their attack.  They would have had enough goals in them without Benjamin Tesco, looking at that transfer it looks like they bought him to prevent us getting him, even tho its left them dead in midfield.

Since the day Newcastle United won the Carabao Cup, Manchester United have won 1 Premier League match

and that was 165 days ago 🤣🤣

And the best thing about that one win? It was against Villa which got us CL 🤣🤣

Howe won 1 of his first 9 league games as your manager. A 1-0 home win against Burnley.

He was dumped out of the FA Cup in the first game at home to Cambridge United. A result almost as bad as losing on pens away to Grimsby.

Until he got signings through the door in January, his win rate was 10%.

Howe needed the transfers. Almost every manager needs the transfers.

You’ve taken a tricky line on this one. Think it’s a rare misstep from the Frog

He’ll be sacked soon and then they’ll say the next manager need times & transfers, it’s an endless circle [emoji38]

Manure would had been at ELC by now if not because of the corrupt PSR rule with tons of ref’s help

Even in that much smaller sample than were judging Amirom on performances were massively improved and even those results were an improvement on 0 wins in 9 of Bruce and 0 wins in 12 pre Howe overall.

Just going off what I've seen here Sir Bobby managed without a big signing to turn Gullit's team completely around. There was a massive upturn when Roeder replaced Souness. Keegan with Kilcline and a free transfer got more points at a relegation bound team than you got finishing 2nd in the final 16 games of that season after he arrived.

There's a concept of 'new manager bounce' for a reason, its nowhere near 'almost every manager needs transfers' levels for managers to show something.

Admire the defence mind, just think its based on nothing.
