I think if the badge was the correct colours on the away (and also third) then it would be even better. I do like the collar.

They should have used that style collar on the home shirt, then it would almost be an 88-90 umbro replica (the first home shirt I bought).

Seems to be a trend now where no club gets their colours on away/3rd

What does it mean by "match version"? The crest looks horribly plastic-y and stuck on

Think it’s to avoid nipple chafing? Obviously the embroidered badge looks miles nicer.

Be a bit like other teams I imagine:

match shirt is dearer and worn by the players - £99

fans shirt is a replica for £69

love the white and green though

Match worn shirts are like £90 aren't they? I mistakenly bought an England match shirt from 2018 WC and it's like spandex and lovely quality compared to the replica.

Bazza Glendeninng, Delanny and the rest of the Guardian Football Podcast gonna shit their knickers over that away strip.

Glendenning may even accidentally tweet a picture of his nob again in protest.

Brilliant mission accomplished, it’s almost like we’re starting to embrace being hated with this top.
