sbnufc
Forgot what it's like to have an actual CB in the team
Bimpy474
Excellent tonight. Makes it all the more baffling why Rafa left him out for Taylor against Norwich and Southampton.
Yorkie
One of the best CB performances in years. That was like Colo circa 10-12.

AyeDubbleYoo
He would be immense with a younger Colo. Mbemba?
Nobody
Should go to the Euros this summer tbh.
triggs
Only saw last ten minutes but outstanding two headers when Man City put the ball in the box late on
Mike
He would be immense with a younger Colo. Mbemba? Keep forgetting Mbemba is 21/22.
Bimpy474
He would be immense with a younger Colo. Mbemba? Exactly, one big, one quick, both young, let them develop as a pair.
Lenny
He's so assertive and imposing. Really impressive and there's a good balance of attributes to work with in him and Mbemba.
Mole_Toonfan
Wouldn't sell him for £100m. Would let him bum me for 25p.
Dave
Considering the circumstances he's been fairly sensational in recent weeks. Added to his outspoken comments about the squad, if we manage to stay up he'll deserve an absolute fuckload of credit.
Guest firetotheworks
Apart from that daft pass that De Bruyne could have easily punished, he was again very good.
Sho Time
Considering the circumstances he's been fairly sensational in recent weeks. Added to his outspoken comments about the squad, if we manage to stay up he'll deserve an absolute fuckload of credit. Another assured performance from him today apart from when he gave the ball to De Bruyne. He seems to be getting better the more he plays and I really hopes he makes me eat my words about him earlier in the season.
Stifler
Reads the game so well, he's a bit like Colo but is able to compete in the air and physically.
Mattoon
First name on the team sheet at the moment for me.
Jayson
This lad is very assured & calm when someones running at him. Its very impressive. Really rate him.
Hughesy
He looked really good today - commanding and a leader. Hope he keeps it up.
joeyt
That terrible pass aside in the first half he was superb again
Hanshithispantz
Recovered well after it too, Taylor would have guided De Bruyne into the box and then turned out the way for a nice 1-on-1 with Darlow.
Foluwashola
Recovered well after it too, Taylor would have guided De Bruyne into the box and then turned out the way for a nice 1-on-1 with Darlow. Took some restraint not to immediately dive in to try and make up for it. He's got smarts.
Nobody
Recovered well after it too, Taylor would have guided De Bruyne into the box and then turned out the way for a nice 1-on-1 with Darlow. Don't know, backed off way too quickly which played Aguero on side almost immediately. Understand that he probably panicked a bit and wanted to get back into position, but would have preferred him to have kept his cool a little bit. Heron
I thought Lascelles was absolutely amazing tonight. Regardless of that pass he shepherded De Bruyne away excellently and forced him into a mistake. Proper, good, hard, old fashioned CB. I like.
Shak
Been shocked at how this lad has stepped up his game in recent weeks. Looked terrified of the ball whenever he got a game for us previously. He's still a bit clumsy on the ball but he's improving as he grows in confidence. He and Mbemba complement each other very nicely and should be our first choice partnership for the rest of the season. Have every faith that Rafa will do just that as well. You just know Pardew and McClaren would be itching to send Coloccini and/or Taylor out there as soon as they got half a fucking chance. The stupid cunts. Parsley
Some talk in the comments from the Guardian match report that he had a bit of a dig at Shelvey in the match programme? Lazy trainer, loses his head when things don't go his way apparently - any truth in this?
