The obsession with Obertan on this forum man

He was nothing like Obertan for goodness sake! Obertan is scared of his own shadow and is so crippled by fear when he plays that he doesn't even dare to run at people or even attempt to dribble the ball. It's a crazy comparison.

This guy had greater urgency and impetus than pretty much everyone else on the team yesterday, and it was his first prem game images! Not to mention his debut for a new club. That in itself should let you know he was the least of our problems.

He'll be just fine. Showed he had some guts yesterday at least, when no one else bothered to turn up.

I think we didn't watch the same game :-)

The lad had absolutely zero support when he carried the ball forward, dummet supported him once and ended up falling on his stupid face. Perez, wini and shelvey never provided an option in advanced areas either. kid was probably wondering what the fuck he'd joined.

The Obertan comparisons are very harsh. His close control under pressure and carrying of the ball was very good. He didn't end up with much support when he had it down the left and lack of decent end product when on the right.

He's barely played in ages so he will need time to gel and find his form, which I imagine won't be long.

Had a quiet game but them none of our lot played well. Think Coleman is one of the fastest right backs in the league which neutralised his pace, should do better against whichever centre half Pulis has playing full back tomorrow.
