Lucas patrolling nowhere beyond the halfway line, winning it and giving it to Shelvey I could see working very well. Frees up Tiote to fack orf too. I've always said there's no point in getting rid of Tiote unless we can bring in a proper replacement. If we can get Lucas though I think that would definitely count. Never seen him in France like. He was trying to get involved but he was pretty hopeless. His defending was clumsy and unconvincing, and he was too easily caught on the ball in possession.
