How is he so cheap if he's so good? £20M is what i've seen. Genuine question. From the reaction, it sounds like Bayern should have been asking for more. Then they pay this for Jota Wage demands plus the way the payment is structured. We don't have a lot of money to pay upfront. In Werner's case, they wanted a majority of the payment upfront. With Jota, the payment is structured over multiple years with the first year payment being low. Same reason we were not able to purchase Jamal Lewis. Not too keen on selling Hoever.
