Mac always scored against Mark Wallington the Leicester keeper, I was stood in the centre paddock ……Supermac shot from about 6 or 7yrds inside the half way line west stand wing…….he nearly bust the net from at least 40yards. Mad game against Chelsea in 87/88 that we won 3-1 and Chelsea missed 2 penalties but most memorably, Gazza scoring one at the Gallowgate end. Time can play tricks on the memory and i've not seen it since but I recall him slaloming past 3 defenders in about 10 feet of space and hammering it into the top corner. I always loved David Batty, so him lofting one over Neil Sullivan against Wimbledon a while after Becks had lobbed Sullivan from the half way line, is one I will always remember. Tino's 3rd goal vs Barcelona when Gillespie had skinned Sergi down the right flank, was unreal. Robert's over-head kick vs Fulham.
