When they 1st went into League One there was thread on RTG asking if you won the Euro millions, like hundreds of millions, would you buy the club? The clubs price back then was rumoured to be about £50m or something. 9 out of 10 people there said they wouldn’t. At the time the jackpot for something stupid like nearly £300m and I asked my mackem season ticket holder mate (who isn’t RTGy) if he would buy them, bearing in mind that he was desperate for new owners, the answer was still no. So even in a theoretical situation where they have untold riches, they still wouldn’t buy the club.
