As much as players like Shelvey like an easy ride, none of them will enjoy matchday at all. Looked like a lot of them didn't believe in what we were doing at all. Palace, Villa, Leeds, Fulham and West Brom is about as nice a run of fixtures as you could get, beat a few of those and we'll stay up. Lose most of them and we'll get dragged to the bottom of the league and stay there for the rest of the season. The cushion of 8 points could quite easily disappear by Xmas with a run of much tougher fixtures to come after that. The display today was absolutely fucking rotten. No urgency, no pattern, no fluency, passing was shocking, no pressing and sloppy marking and it's getting worse by the game. He's thick as fuck and any enthusiasm in the players has totally worn off, they don't look like they're enjoying any of it and when 'man-management' is your only (possible) managerial strength then that's a fucking massive issue as he's got zero to fall back on. The defensive discipline under Rafa has now disappeared and the good luck he has carried for months has gone with it. This is the real Steve Bruce. This is the Steve Bruce that's stunk out every team he's been at. This is the Steve Bruce that 99% of Newcastle fans never wanted because they all knew it was only a matter of time before he did to Newcastle what he's done to every club he's been at. He's a fucking shit manager and always has been. The sooner someone puts us all out of our misery and peddles this gormless fat cunt the better. He's fucking done.
