In 2019 he was against it, make the same point again or tell us you’ve changed your mind. Him sitting on a multimillion fortune in his bank should be enough to grow a pair and resign.

He did say he was against it pre game didn't he?

It's been one day in which he had to prepare for a game, maybe he will resign when he has a chance to think about it. Managers and players are just pawns though

Gary's point about City is a good one. They don't need the money like the others do, and if they pull out then the whole thing folds. Hoping Pep steps up and calls them out on it and they're never going to sack him.

It's amazing how people are holding his view to higher standards than others for some reason.

I do think if Klopp/Pep/ all the biggest stars in coaching and management came out against this and said they wouldn’t be part of it it would be dead in the water

All Klopp needs to tell FSG is ‘you do this without me’ and Pep the same and both clubs would absolutely shit themselves.

The other three managers look perfectly replaceable so won’t hold the same clout nor will they bother.

It is in part because of the connection he creates between himself and the fans. He does champion himself as a man of the people more than most managers

Aye, because few other managers, or anyone else in the game, have built their brand as a big cuddly, socialist, man of the people. Time for him to back it up, and he’s harking on about the owners being “good people”.

Klopp comes out like an absolute wanker in all of this. Fair enough he and his players may have no knowledge of what is going on, but ffs trying to get into a petty argument with Gary Neville, who is actually backing you and your players is terrible craic like.

Even Roy Keane was kind of funny And taking it all in when Micah Richards was having digs at him yesterday. Klopp is taking it personally and building a divide for no reason is just meh.

That’s not the club manager’s fault or the players to be fair but there needs to be a seismic transfer request or resignation of a manager for them to really throw their weight behind it and nail their colours to the mast.

He's the figurehead of the club. There's no reason for him to go in on Neville there other than to avoid questioning about himself and his detailed thoughts on this proposal. All that shit about disrespecting a fucking song man, its pathetic.

If he has a problem with it he should take it up with his employers, not those asking the pertinent questions.
