toontownman
With the exception of maybe trippier, I think he probably covered more ground than anyone else during the game. He was relentless. Might not have always been pretty but he was constantly closing Everton players down, getting a foot in to tackle and trying to break up play, even if sometimes he was breaking up our own play. Tremendous performance imo. More of this please. While I think Howe will like the idea of Shelvey and Bruno both playing, to pose problems for opposition in offering dangerous passes from different areas of the pitch, the pure running and workrate willock offers shouldn't be ignored. We know he can be an attacking threat. Joe Bruno Joe For me.
Rich
He’s got massive, massive talent and his technique is great. Still think there’s a ways to go with game intelligence and general awareness, but he’s young enough to improve in both areas. He’s finally winning tackles and using his body, he just needs a goal and I think he’ll step it up even further. Would love to see him with Bruno beside. Guest Biggsbond14
Certainly grew into the game and never stopped running great overall ?
NE27
Better against tired legs it seems. At his best when he throws caution to the wind and just head down and run. Maybe a better impact sub?
cubaricho
Deserved a goal there at the end when he hit it straight at Pickford.

Gallowgate Toon
I really love his game when he plays like he did in the second half. He's so dynamic and has real assets.

Consortium of one
In a club that had no tactics he kept popping up in the right spot and scored last year. Under Howe he has a defined role and he will grow into it. He'll probably never have a stretch like he did with us last year but he will succeed and bag his fair share in the future. Love his motor. David Edgar
I like this new Joe Willock. Reminds me of the old Joe Willock.
Klaus
He's been involved in everything good about our forward play. Keep it up lad, the goals will come back

Flip
I’m confused. What exactly did he do that was great today?
Rafalove
Won the ball high up a few times which led to counter attacks. I thought he did well.
arnonel
I think he was great. Still raw but heaps of potential in this role
CPL
He carried the ball well and had a solid game in my opinion.
Lush Vlad
Personally think that is 3 games in a row, where he has been one of our top performers. I thought if not for Burn, he was MOTM. Gets forward on and off the ball into good areas. Seems to get 2-3 nutmegs in a game. Massively involved high up the pitch and the only one that seems to support Wood in any meaningful way. He is deceptively quick, with a good change of pace and his fitness levels seem a lot better. Along with all of the squad. Even winning that free kick for the goal is massive. He is basically the only player in our team apart from ASM that will even dribble with the ball like that.
STM
His fitness is superb. In the second half he gets a second wind, while others are flagging.
Mazzy
Decent today, had a cpuple half chances in the box where he couldve done better to get a shot away but hes better than he was 2 months ago. Would like to see Bruno in for him next game, give him a rest against West Ham.
Newcastle Fan
His energy in midfield was absolutely vital in the last few games, he's hardly put a foot wrong today.
KaKa
Think he can be a bit flimsy in midfield, but that second half towards the end especially he really picked it up and was a big reason we were able to see out the game. Pretty exciting how so many of our players are starting to re-emerge from their slumber.
joeyt
Been really good recently. Playing for his place possibly or maybe just over that toe injury he's had
