gbandit Posted Sunday at 18:13 Share Posted Sunday at 18:13 I think we should be selling and I’ve always been one of his biggest supporters
AyeDubbleYoo Posted Sunday at 18:14 Share Posted Sunday at 18:14 Really want him out now, he doesn’t have a position and he’s no good as an impact sub either. That said, we will need bodies next season.
The Butcher Posted Sunday at 18:17 Share Posted Sunday at 18:17 Been an important player for us, but I do thinks this is a good time to part ways. Don't know if anyone would pay a lot for him with his form and injuries.

nufcjmc Posted Sunday at 18:19 Share Posted Sunday at 18:19 He's just not effective or impactful if he needs a regular run of games to hit top form he's not going to get it. We are going to need to rotate regular next year he needs to be ready to perform. Hoping he's moved on just don't see anyone stumping up the sort of money the club will want to consider it. He would be perfect for a promoted side.

Big River Posted Monday at 11:56 Share Posted Monday at 11:56 did anyone else notice his warm up at half time? it was the most half arsed thing I have ever seen. he must have knew he was coming on, which makes it even worse. he's got a terrible attitude for whatever reason. Maybe I’m wrong, hopefully next season he can get back to his usual self, because the Willock of old is a very good player.

He hasn’t looked bothered about trying to save his career here at all for months now. It is definitely time to get rid this summer, sadly.

ExiledGeordie Posted Monday at 13:59 Share Posted Monday at 13:59 I would I rather he was old and a midfielder brought in who has a more defined position or can do something different.
Mazzy Posted Monday at 14:58 Share Posted Monday at 14:58 Perfect move for him and a great deal for us if true. Now do the same with Longstaff and we're all happy.
ponsaelius Posted Monday at 15:00 Share Posted Monday at 15:00 (edited) Sounds like a load of shite that rumour but do think it's time to move him on. Edited Monday at 15:00 by ponsaelius

That lad was supposed to delete his Twitter account TWICE because of how unbelievably unreliable an ITK he is. You basically just need to DM with a lie and he'll post it as gospel. Norseman Posted Monday at 15:59 Share Posted Monday at 15:59 Pretty sure he used to repost what @Shadow Puppets wrote on here. Been caught numerous times just posting what random people DM him. His tweets belong in the twitter bullshit thread, or better yet, don’t post his tweets here at all.

I remember watching some YouTube videos with a few of our players, I think perhaps it was one with Pope and Burn and another with Bruno. I recall on both videos they were asked something to the effect of "who is most likely to be fined at the club?" or "who is mostly likely to turn up late?", and in both instances the answer was quickly and unanimously Joe Willock. I know it was said in a kind of jovial, trivial manner but for me it raised a bit of a red flag regarding his commitment and attitude. I say this as a bit of a hypocrite as my favourite ever player is Hatem Ben Arfa; perhaps I give him a pass as he was a genius and the times were very different. Willock has always came across as a nice person, softly-spoken, quiet and likeable, yet on the pitch I find him frustrating to watch and struggle to see any real stand out qualities. I think he either struggles a bit with confidence or doesn't have the drive required anymore. Wish him the best but hope he's moved on this summer. Optimistic Nut Posted Monday at 16:37 Share Posted Monday at 16:37 Very similar to Wilson. Thanks for keeping our head above water in that loan spell to keep us a Premier League team for the takeover happening, thanks for the 22/23 season, good luck wherever he goes next. jackflap Posted Monday at 16:42 Share Posted Monday at 16:42 Think he's too soft and passive, could be good in the right team with a run of games but that's never going to be the case here and lacks the mentality to come into a game and impose himself. Keep going back to the miss against Brighton in the FA Cup where he virtually pulled out of a free header into an open goal.

Ultimately could see him being moved on and if you go back and watch the YouTube compilation from his loan spell and a period of 22/23 you can see the difference due to his injuries. If we need gamechangers he doesn't fall into that category now.
