Steve Bruce (now unemployed)

There's a notable disconnect since he left, in media, between sympathy for Bruce and a real acknowledgement of our perilous league position -  people talking about how terrible it is but forgetting he caused it. As if people thinking we got there since we've been managerless. Heard on one podcast our position is so terrible we need someone like Bruce to come in to save us, but we just got rid of Bruce...

Our shiity 0.5 points per game under Jones for his two games is actually an improvement on our Bruce form this season, 0.375 points per game.

Yeah I've noticed, I wonder who they think is responsible for our being in a relegation battle since its clearly not the previous manager

Looking so much like his father. If he wasn't such a monumental spunkbag I'd feel sorry for him.

See how many of his media chums put his name forward for the Norwich job - bet nobody who actually supports them will

This is the perfect vacancy to smoke out the media and other fans b*llocks.

If he doesn't get this, he's done in the PL forever, yet apparently still good enough for us

I'm looking forward to the SB soundbites in response to media links to vacant roles, claiming he needs time to recover after all the abuse he received before taking another role.

I also bet he gets no actual approaches from anyone but that won't affect the the narrative.
