I'm assuming that would tarnish his reputation as a man of dignity and integrity [as defined by the media]. Funny thing is, I 'd think he had a lot more of both if he said he was sticking around for his payoff. Doing a shite job and getting an £8million payout is legendary. I think that might be part of the reason why he's a bit more thoughtful about the PIF takeover and hasn't jumped on the anti-NUFC bandwagon so quickly this time.
