TRon Posted September 15, 2020 Share Posted September 15, 2020 Very subdued reaction in the media about this, wasn't much a story in the Times beyond reporting it had happened, and didn't see much on Sky Sports News either. Seems like the rest of the country is proper pissed off tbh. I don't think they're pissed off at all. The rest of the country just couldn't give a fuck what happens to us. We only care because NUFC is ours. Maybe I'm getting that impression because whenever I read the comments underneath any news articles about the takeover, it's invariably a load of abuse aimed at NUFC . This was before smart phones and wi-fi so getting your hands on smut at short notice was tricky and it was risky adding hotel grot films to the bill as it needed to be submitted to company expenses. Still dont get the attention it creates, no one knows a thing . Just sit back and watch it all play out , getting ya hope's up is just being cruel to yourself .
