Right then, what does that mean for us ?

No change, related party transactions need to show fair market value but the need to show equivalent offers from other potential sponsors hasn’t passed

Would just be creating a load of work if that had been passed (for everyone that is)

Barely made it halfway through that. Newcastle……are……allowed….to…..sign…Neves.

If they're going to make out that we can now do that without referencing that othes can also, should they state that this attempt, mid way through the season, is purely about trying to stop us?

Liverpool fans yet again starting say they should have kept on the Super League train.

Honestly, I’ve been saying it for a while, watch them, their fans are not as against it as they would have you believe.

Horrible fuckers so insufferable.

I got the impression on RAWK that (unlike the other 5) they were largely in favour at the time. Competing with your West Ham's, Southampton's, Fulham's etc is beneath a club of their unparalleled status.

What he means is it should be 12-8 for things they want and can guarantee the numbers for. Then it needs to be unanimous for things they dont want.

Enjoy the bitterness on there.

The ethically right, squeaky clean fans of Liverpool FC at it again. On about joining the EFL and severing ties with the PL. All because them and their other corrupt mates are no longer calling the shots.

A personal favourite…..

“No surprise that City, Newcastle and Chelsea, the three biggest stains on English football, voted that way. Loathsome clubs doing loathsome things, as expected”

That from a Liverpool FC supporter. Staggering.

Hilarious reading. They think if they, Man U and Arsenal leave and join the EFL the PL would fall apart. The self importance.

So whose place would they take in the Championship?

Would it be an expanded Championship and why would other clubs agree to playing six additional games a year and have three powerful teams join the league and limit their chances?

Could they survive the cut in TV revenue, they seem to think the TV money will follow them 😂. Pretty sure Sky, TNT, and Amazon are tied in long term with PL plus foreign broadcasters. So massive reduction in income and they’re not backed by sovereign wealth or a sugar daddy.

What happens if they win the Championship or place in the promotion spots, do they promote to the league they left and immediately leave it again?

Do they convince EFL to break link to PL so there is no promotion in the hope that starves and kills off PL (more likely to kill EFL as PL gives % of revenue to EFL). Why would Championship teams agree to that break and no promotion to what has been the top league since the nineties.

Deluded.

Cheeky doylems have short memories

They were one of the major clubs that pushed to leave the EFL and form the PL all because they wanted more money (Ironically Everton were part of that too)

They created the beast that is the Premier League, which was about greed and money and are now upset the chickens are coming home to roost

They can shove their moralising because it's utter bollocks coming from them

The more pissed off and in meltdown these fuckers are the better. They are the most entitled bunch of wet wipes going. Them, Spurs, Arsenal and Man United in particular have spent the last three years trying to block everything concerning us. Fuck them all

Let them fuck off, all it would need is for Saudi to sponsor the PL without them, doubt their owners would want to miss out on the money. Fuck them.

I didn’t check at that time but I’m guessing they were absolutely fucking livid about banking £50m for Henderson and Fabinho.

Precisely; the fake self righteousness is tedious at best.

It’s funny how nobody was calling for these restrictions at the start of the season, not a peep out of the scouse when they offload very expensive deadwood which they wouldn’t have been able to do with out the good ole oil money.

If they wanted to be fair, they would be against a mid season rule change which was proposed only to hobble a fellow member.

let’s be frank here, they object to us because we have money, (which we can’t even spend lol). It doesn’t matter who our owners are, as long as we are richer than they want to take the toys home. It’s amusing we didn’t have this attitude when they were buying the league back in the 80’s.

It's amusing, because we haven't even done anything wrong. It's all everyone second guessing what we might do - hopefully gives them sleepless nights making up hypotheticals.

In the meantime, it's being reported that Spurs may have broken agent payment rules that were actually in place several years ago.

If true, Luton got a points deduction for that at the time.

Quite glad our owners seem to be canny and operating within the rules, but should do everything they can within them. Unlike the previous jokers who'd have probably forgotten to turn up and vote, citing the high cost of train fares.

This gives them more of a clear path now that it has been voted on. Rules is rules and we’re operating within them. Hope they bring in whoever we need to cement top 4 this season! Mahrez, Benzema, Kante thank you. Oh and Maxi for shits &  giggles and a true goodbye :indi:

Worst fans of all the big clubs if you ask me, the most entitled, whinging bunch by a mile. Honestly don't know why anyone has ever compared them to ours, they think they have a god given right to trophies every season.
