Smelly and Fat Mike from NOFX

Smelly (Erik Sandin) has had an awful lot of, er unique, aliases to say the least. My two favorites are Groggy Nodbeggar and Herb Reath Stinks. Great band NOFX.

Yeah it’s so easy for them to say that when it hasn’t happened to them. Bet if it was them that had been taken over the numbers would be massively different. Those kind of surveys are absolutely pointless when it’s all just hindsight.

Of course it would

Exactly right, so surveys like that are completely pointless and don’t portray any kind of truth.

Aye right. Hypothetical moral guardians of the game. Easy to say that you would boycott when you don’t have to see it through.

They would still sell out their NFL stadium just like they would have for the ESL games.

Fuck Off You Spurs.

I think we will win this. The players know they are now playing for a place in the squad of a club going places and will want to turn in a decent performance. Every one of them is now easily replaceable in January and they will know it.

The fat mess on the touchline will have no influence over Sunday's result. The players will likely ignore him and be playing for themselves.

2-1.

"A large poster van displaying an image of the murdered Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi will be prominent around St James' Park before Newcastle's first game under Saudi ownership on Sunday."

Fair do's.

This is something we will have to live with from now on.

There is genuinely more outrage at NUFC being owned by Saudis, than the actual government having close economic and political ties with the regime. You would think NUFC actually murder journalists and bombed Yemen, the way this is being received.

It's a mixture of jealousy and bandwagon jumping. Honestly it feels great, for over a decade we've had to sit and take the constant shit from all corners about how we're delusional. a little club etc and there was little to come back with because they aren't interested in the nuanced conversation, just telling you you're a delusional geordie then laughing as we nearly get relegated. Now we don't even need to say anything, just allow time to take the seat and enjoy the toon gloriously dicking these peasants into the ground.

I'll live with it.

At the end of the day we won, the big six lost. They'll have to live with it as well.

A lot of Spurs fans would obviously change their tune if it was them being taken over, they are obviously jealous and feel like that they are going to slip further away from ever winning the title with Kane getting a year older and likely half way out of the for and their best squad possibly ever not being good enough or bottling it.

However let’s not forget that Spurs have a large Jewish following, and for many of their fans, a Saudi led club will never be welcomed. I think this is one of the reasons why their takeover to PIF failed, apart from the owners thinking they could sell the club for the most money every received.
