elbee909
Treacy could be talking about anyone or anything and he'd still come across as a twat Edited April 2, 2022 by elbee909
Pilko
Having watched the full podcast, Treacy comes across like a self-entitled sort who seems to think that any manager who didn't make it their personal mission to sort out his various problems was no good. Even Parky who is usually incredibly jovial gets pissed off at one point and says "At Championship level you can't expect a manager to be taking responsibility for all your problems, you can only expect so much support when there's a full squad of 20 lads". huss9
https://www.nufc.co.uk/nufc-tv/latest-videos/howe-pre-tottenham-a-media-briefing-21-22/ never makes excuses eg covid or injuries. even against chelsea when we had 7 first choice missing. always mentions that it also affects all the other clubs. Tiresias
I am contrasting that with Gerrard and Lampard, media darling boys who blame everything apart from themselves. Obviously big frank far worse but wasnt Gerrard throwing his players under the bus yesterday. I never understand this attitude, it's always a last ditch move with a high risk. I think Howe works hard to make even our fringe players feel they can contribute and they are valuable
Happinesstan
Aye. Howe is only interested in improving the players. Lampard, and Gerrard it seems, are only interested in players maintaining THEIR reputation.

Pilko
Good fun reading his touchy-feely soundbites of late about team bonding and hearing tales of woe from the past of each player over dinner etc when he sends them out to fetch up a powder puff, limp disgrace of a performance like today. Wolves is huge now. Needs to set us up properly and make key decisions (banish Manquillo, Bruno to start & drop Maxi) otherwise we'll get dragged into it again before we know it. HaydnNUFC
Promising 1st half followed by that shambolic 2nd. Got it wrong and deserves stick for it, still fully behind him though. Has to be getting at least 6 points from these 3 home games to see us safe.

It's this sort of bollocks that's putting me off this place.

Smal
It takes incredible levels of stupidity to send a team out second half like that after watching Spurs dismantle a high line against Everton a couple of weeks ago.

WillingtonMag
Well he has a clean slate for his line up next week because could drop any one of them. Hopefully we see Bruno start and not lose his place again because he is head and shoulders above all 3 of our starting midfielders today.
