Don’t know why everyone hates Disasi so much, he’s fine. Sure it’s because of his name

I don't think he's fine, he's poor but think people merge him with Badiashile and he's made out to be even worse as a result

Our CB situation is totally open, with Schär and Lascelles certainly leaving and Botman+Burn contracts to be solved. We should get a CB now in January if it is possible someway.

If it costs an extra £5m or so to get our top summer targets early I'd 100% do it. Depends on the selling club though and them having to bring their plans forward too as I've no doubt we'll have already been sounding out targets for 6 months time.

£5m is a bargain if it delivers Europe again and higher PL place prize money. Just a couple of places higher in the table bridges the extra spend.

Would anyone take Harry Wilson as a squad option? 20 mill minimum. Think he’d chip in with goals and assists.

Or am I standards too low?

So fine he's not kicked a ball in last 6 months?

Beyond the fact his name sounds like disaster, he's a meh level defender that relies on 1vs1 contact to defend. He's a Micah Richards of the modern game

Is Schar certainly leaving?

Came up during the pre Leeds PC, I got the sense from Howe that they not in a rush to enter discussions and that performances and time would dictate things. I was left with the impression that Schar, at the least, would be contracted again.

Pretty sure despite the injury we’ll give him an extension. Lascelles could very well stay this season, he’s likely to get some game time when fit.

Considering he’s a club legend It wouldn’t seem right to me to let him go because he got an injury when he’s going to need plenty of rehab etc. I’m sure he would’ve got another year had he not got injured.

Similarly coming to out of contract, didn't we let Shortstaff use the facilities to recover before his move to MLS?

The thing is, if we give him contract, Burn already has one for next season and then Thiaw. That is 3 of usually 4 Cb spots taken. Botman is the 4th. If we are trying to push the average age of the squad down, like I guess we are, then that means we are replacing Botman? Of course Schär might just take Lascelles’ role, but would he be happy with that?

According to AI these are some potential young and upcoming center backs worth looking at

Flamingo (PSV)

Owusu-Oduro (AZ)

Lawlor (Cardiff)

Koulierakis (Wolfsburg)

Silva (Benfica)

Diomande (Sporting)

Also mentioned Quansah, potentially might be interested in returning to Premier League at some point?

How much to pry Kepa away from Arsenal

Think they got a great deal actually, £5M wasn't it? Mental to think he's the world's most expensive keeper. I'd like him here but I don't they'd budge.

Given the fact he went to warm arsenals bench it's clear we werent interested in him.

Wolves have cut their asking price for JSL by a fair bit more than what's been reported in the media as of late and in pole position to get him over the line as JSL, or to be more precise; his representatives, have taken note of what happens to the strikers signing for West Ham

Jan Åge Fjørtoft being ground zero for this info dump will never not feel like a joke, but in this specific scenario (JSL) he might not be bullshitting as much as he tends to do on average due to the fact he should be clued up on all things JSL given how his son is a part of JSL's reps :dontknow:
