So they will sell then, if they get a big enough offer. Just saw a few posters saying they would never sell him on the previous couple of pages.

As with our own club, no one knows anything until a deal is done.

He seems to want to play for a CL club so I don’t think he’s a realistic target for us.

Nobody wants him though.

He might have to run the contract down. Leicester don't want that either.

Arsenal would've been a decent move but they wanted positional flexibility.

Then he kicks rocks for a year and moves for a free next summer.

So Leicester need to sell before they can buy, fair enough.

But they also don’t need to sell. Why sell Barnes to then have to go out and replace him with someone at least as good? They could just keep him.

Its not like the market is awash with available and quality wide men, as we’ve found out.

All very quiet from the local journos on us, expect Edwards to back to his positive self on Monday after he's finished with the Euros.

It's been this way since Ashworth came in. Hopefully a good sign he has tightened the ship in terms of negotiation leaks. Either that or the lad is on a massive skive.

@LV Yep, Leicester actually need another wing-option and Barnes is one of those players who’s contract isn’t in it’s last year. Would take a huge offer for them to even think about selling.

They might be happy with that position and have enough in the squad to fill it without Barnes and might want to buy for elsewhere on the pitch where they feel they are lacking quality? Goalkeeper if Schmeichel is off?

Could we go with

                     Wilson

ASM                                  Almiron

Bruno          Big Joe       Paqueta

My prediction for the little it’s worth is we’ll sign Harrison and get Broja on loan

Yep, this feels like the most realistic outcome. Which I also think puts us in a good position for the season ahead. Not as flashy as some people may like, but I would say it makes a top half finish achievable. Obviously would prefer Barnes to Harrison, but I just can't see us being willing to part with the £50m+ it would take. Don't think we will break the £50m on one player barrier till next Summer.

I know Harrison is confidently both footed but has he played on the right much.

Would be quite underwhelming but we just won’t or can’t pay what clubs are wanting for better. I was hoping for more bruno standard of players but guess just see what happens. The market is ridiculous when we are getting quoted £30m-£35m for average premier league players

Hope so. I’d be very surprised tbh. Maybe this whole bank loan thing will change things but imo that’s just for cash flow and nothing to do with transfers

Raphinha played on the right didn’t he

Don’t think it would bother me where Harrison plays on our team - I suspect on the right if he does sign - he can easily cut onto the left foot which would be very useful for our attacks

Sure Bruno hates playing on the left swap him and big Joe

Chris Waugh is definetly in the dark transfer wise. His PotT updates were:

We're interested in Sesko but so are half of Europe.

Draxler unlikely, but Warner possible on loan.

Players will become available as squads are trimmed.

Ritchie and a keeper will likely leave minimum.

Real cutting edge stuff. Not much from Hope these days either, only Edwards is churning out the "exclusives" and his source is probably still Steve Bruce. Thirsty times.
