Could ask the question whether it will focus the need for loans instead of high cost purchases. Is there too much risk splashing out when they may, in likely probability, need to stock the Championship transfer warchest? The team needs a full rework and January isn't normally the best time to do that.

We all said the same after Cambridge and we only got in Chris Wood with a day or two to spare.

Last week seemed like we were still persisting with the same 2-3 targets, that for numerous reasons, are perhaps out of reach at the moment.

Wonder how much Dele Alli would actually cost. There is always way too big a gap between our striker and any of our midfield and you’d think he’d solve that.

Honestly our midfield does nothing .

Two new midfielders in this team, drop Joelinton, put a proper number 10 in. Joelinton only really looks good at the moment because the rest of them are shite

Wtf, Joelinton is by far a better tackler than finisher, we've found his position, he's a box to box lad, strength/dribble/tackles/passes/ he's got all the attributes the rest of the so called natural midfielders haven't got. If he improved his finishing, he'd be awesome.

For me lately, his strength and tackle are that good he could play deeper, but that would be a waste on what else he brings, going forward and supporting attacks.

He's been a revelation in the centre or middle of a group.

Shelvey playing as some makeshift anchorman is the worst thing we're doing right now.  He must be absolutely sensational in training because every manager since McClaren has seemed to rate him.

He's the guy I drop.
