Guy must feel good about being wanted and being a long term target. We obviously have a tactical plan for him and aren’t just interested because he’s the latest fashionable name. Howe’s also helped young players improve and establish themselves in their national teams. All positives for us.

Interesting quote from Bland in his Ekitike thread.

Makes me feel Howe would be more into waiting on long term targets like Guehi than going after someone like Scalvini. Bland could be full of shite too lol. If the player and opportunity is good enough though I think we move.

If we get this done, we have moved quick before Liverpool were willing.

Ekitike is not a 10

it'll be ..

      Gordon-Isak -Ekitke-Elanga

                Bruno   Tonali

    Hall Botman  New CB Tino

                     New GK

With Hall and Tino inverting into CM

Serious question.  Would you take signing Ekitike and beating the Mackems twice but get relegated. Or something else?

Asking for a marra, I mean friend.

I am also in the camp that doesnt see how this is pulled off with both Isak and Gordon staying put with further areas to improve.

there are lot of games coming up it will be huge fixture list between August and January once CL draw comes out, but 125m or so on Ekitike and Elanga on paper doesnt leave much for GK, CB, midfielder unnless there is serious income from sales which aint happening from the deadwood.

Yes but doesn't a £15m sale of Longstaff provide £50m headroom of PSR. Its all clever accounting in this day and age
