We, and the sports journo’s haven’t a clue what are budget is, fwiw we’ll get a CB too.

I have a theory, which may be wrong, but perhaps the club, privately, have decided to go all out this summer, whilst 'keeping their powder dry' publicly, as they would. Maybe they have decided to spend what they like (within reason), and just see how the chips fall at the end of the season, with the Man City case outcome, and how that affects PSR/FFP going forward. It's well doable, obviously wages on top and we have to cover it next year etc. But we got £30 Mill for Kelly/Miggy so it's basically free 😂.
