Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

Getting pretty tedious this losing out on nearly every player we go for.

Mbeumo, Delap, Joao Pedro and now it seems Ekitike.

Give us a fucking break someone ffs!

Until we're nearer the top of pecking order, not much we can do to be honest.

The way some of you are going on, they will get Isak, Botman will replace Konate and Gordon will replace Diaz. And we will be honoured to have served the glorious might of Liverpool FC.

We should start a petition to get big Al kicked off punditry and replaced by Robbie Fowler.

Getting Shearer off punditry wouldn’t be a bad thing tbh.

I'm still optimistic.

Wages aside, how do you sell a move to a club that's clearly used you as a pawn to try and force through a move for their preferred target?

Furthermore, there's history their with a club that's tracked you for numerous years, clearly rated you extremely highly and is signing you to play first team football alongside arguably thr best striker in the world.

We will have a ceiling to how much we can bid, to ensure we can sign other players. If Frankfurt want more than that amount and have a club (liverpool) willing to pay it, then there isn't much we can do.

We shall see how it plays out.

Sesko is possible? Although, scousers reportedly in for him too. They will likely sign two forwards if they sell Nunez.

Not legally allowed I've heard.

His opening gambit was Wissa and Watkins, which couldn't be further from the truth.

He had no idea about Ekitike until news broke.

He might know now though. The conflicting reports about transfers are mad. The differing agendas, who’s driving the stories and for what purpose. I need to switch off from it for my mental health [emoji38]

I cannot see Liverpool signing Ekitike nor Isak.

Do Liverpool even need a striker?

They simply cannot afford Isak, and don't think they're genuinely interested in Ekitike

Well aye Jota, well he died and they are selling Nunez so they need not 1 but 2 strikers.

if they sell Nunez & Diaz and I assume a huge insurance pay out on Jota of course they can afford Isak

It doesn’t get done because they’ve turned down our 70 million bid. Liverpool will basically pay the 85 million and offer him more wages, it’s game over but they won’t get Isak so fuck them.

On the plus side 85 million on the back of 1 good season could bite them on the arse…..hopefully.

Not just that how did their last young, highly rated, striker from the continent do?

I'm in the camp that Liverpool aren't really interested in Ekitike. They're just trying to throw their weight around to get their own way

Why wouldn’t they be? He’s literally sugar free Isak. If they can’t get Isak they’d be mad not to go for him.

we as always shot our load too soon and tried to negotiate down when Liverpool  can negotiate up
