Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

Think he’s looked brilliant. Certified baller and looks like he’s becoming a bagsman.

Im happy for him as I’ve been following him loosely since he was linked and always thought he could get to the top. It’s just a shame that it’s with Liverpool.

I think he and Isak are both too good to play for the same team and can’t play together unless in a front 2.  I expect when will have to leave over the next 2-3 years.

Convenient.

Think Liverpool will stroll the league this year with the attacking options available.

Potentially the best attacking line up in world football if they all click?

Don't big them up man, even if it's true

If i am not mistaken he was our first target even before we signed Isak, i like the stories about him having personal trainers for every aspect of his game and constantly working on himself even during the summer, it shows in his performances but will be interesting to so see how Liverpool can keep both him and Isak happy.

Will love it, love it when their defensive injuries continue to mount and they dip out on it because of a leaky back line.  Their very own "all you needed was a defender, and you bought Tino Asprilla" year

totally agree, still odds against and they're 5 points clear already.  Will be even further ahead of Arsenal after sunday hopefully, I don't think they are credible challengers, but obviously still decent.

No, otherwise that would be a bit weird.

You can get away with lifting the shirt up, but not fully off (depending on any message underneath), but once it’s fully off, automatic yellow regardless of what’s underneath.

Was he, in effect, showing off his name?

Ekitike would have just done what Isak did to us this summer in a few years

So will most players until we are allowed to compete for the top honours and pay top wages.

They’ve won 5 out 5, but their games are giving me Man City vibes from last season where they started well on paper but performances not convincing. Then it all came crashing down quick.

Their attack can be good, but they have minimal CBs.

Their whole back 4 is suspect, Frimpong is a speed merchant with no end product and Kerkez looks pony, then you've got genital Wirtz looking lost, although Gravenberch looks good and Szobosklei is decent too. They just don't look a solid PL championship winning team, but a potential front 3 of Salah, Ekitike and Voldemort is the best on paper in the league.

For numerous reasons I will continue to hate watch in earnest but they look suspect to be having an immaculate record and so far have looked to be lucky rather than deserving of most of their wins, is it sustainable though? I hope not because I'm here for the schadenfreude.

Their aura is surely wearing off a bit and they'll not carry on with the ridiculous last minute winners for the rest of the season. They've already benefited more than most from VAR calls too from what I've seen.

They aren't a bad side by any stretch, but they're clearly a few levels below the great Pep sides we've seen over the years.

Edit: from their opening 7 games, 3 have been won in injury time

Bournemouth was the 88th minute too.

They did this quite a lot last season as well iirc. They just seem very hard to put away, we know this from experience unfortunately.

The fact he was kicking off at PSG about not getting a game ahead of Messi, Neymar & Mbappe, probably implies he's not going to be happy playing second fiddle to Isak. Last night might be nothing, but from the outside it looks like he's not happy with what he's signed up for.

He's fucking dense. A pretty good football player, though.
