Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

The fact he was kicking off at PSG about not getting a game ahead of Messi, Neymar & Mbappe, probably implies he's not going to be happy playing second fiddle to Isak. Last night might be nothing, but from the outside it looks like he's not happy with what he's signed up for.

That's a bit of a reach. He might get pissed off at some point if he's benched for long periods, but at the moment he's playing more than Isak.

He's playing more because Isak isn't fit, he knows what everyone knows. He's backup.

Yep, theres no way they cause the stink they did with Isak and pay a record transfer fee for Ekitike to be the main man.

He's backup, and he'll know it.

Tbh I think they’ve found their striker in Ekitike and it’s more likely that Isak will be the one shipped to Saudi in a couple of years. You would have to be stupid to shift Ekitike from where he’s playing right now other than to give him a rest IMO.

Nah it was more for the time wasting element, if I recall correctly. Which is odd as the post goal celebrations (if VAR haven't stuck their oar in) take just as long since that rule was introduced.

Shirt sponsors iirc. They weren't happy their logo wasn't visible on the biggest moments.

I said he might get to that point where he's pissed off at playing second fiddle, I just said it's a bit of a reach to suggest he already is. He's playing and scoring goals right now while Isak is the one playing catch up.

Liverpool as a club are in a great position, even if either of them do want out, they are going to make big money on Ekitike, and will get their money back on Isak more than likely.

Get the impression he's been doing other dumb stuff hence the strong response [emoji38]

Didn't he film himself on the phone while he was driving recently too [emoji38]

Get the impression he's going to be a real headache with random ridiculous behaviour.

Liverpool need to stop holding him hostage and let him go in the January window. Young players wont want to go there if this is how they are treated.

Unless it’s club policy that any red is 2-weeks wages it seems OTT response

Also who can see a redemption arc here? 3 times he turned us down, Liverpool push him to breaking point, he comes here and helps destroy Liverpool for good motivated by his hatred of Isak and Slot.

He's a dipshit, but he's been very good for them. His movement and finishing is as good as Isak from what I've seen.  He'll get done in some skivvy scouse scheme at some point.

Fantastic player no doubt, but he seems to be a knucklehead [emoji38]

He's giving off Jhon Duran vibes in that regard.
