I think we played well, but quality of crossing and shooting is awful. Longstaff had all the time in the world and still shot with his weaker foot from 20 yards.. 

Saint-Maximin is trying way too hard.

We certainly don't look any better than they do and their signings look as good as ours. If our owners are serious about us staying up they need to go and drop a lot of money in the next two weeks including a new midfield and a striker who can score some goals.

Just lacking composure yet again , we will get 2 big chances we need to take one of them .

 

Pedestrian midfield is slowing the build up and squeezing to many players together , resulting in a muddle of a first half for us .Big Jow should have scored but I will be saying that for a long time yet . 
 

Game is there if we can muster one bit of quality lads.

Feels similar to the first half in the Cambridge game albeit with fewer clear cut chances.

 

Tough to give anyone grief, the commitment is there, just some really poor quality players in key positions.

 

Their LB has been good. I'm liking the physicality Wood brings up front. Need ASM higher up the field, and Longstaff further back.

We could pump 50 balls in, in this game, and still not score. Theres nobody with the finishing abilities getting on any of it.

 

Hopefully Wood shows up soon, with a big header or effort and scores.??

ASM is basically a counter attacking player only. Absolutely useless when he is tightly marked. Can’t hold it up, poor touch, can’t pass.

I agree with this. His play is breaking down so many potential moves that could create even more chances for us to score. It's a big problem.

Even though it’s mostly been us and we have put on pressure, we just never look like scoring. Need to start creating real chances.

ASM doesn’t look fit to me at all like, looks heavy legged.

We look hopeless when a side sits back like this. Move the ball so slow and so many backwards passes. Really need a CM comfortable on the ball and with a bit of pace and drive.
