I'd take that tbf. We have Pope now and Dubravka, whilst kept us in games many times, makes his fair share of mistakes. Would mean we'd have to watch Darl w in cup matches every so often.

Would prefer Dubravka to stay and I feel like it shouldn't really be necessary to throw in such a sweetener, but if it's what it takes to get in a player of Maddison's quality then I would approve. Would be a great move for him, too.

Not particularly happy if Dubravka leaves. The whole point in bringing in Pope in my eyes was to make the overall squad stronger by dramatically reducing the gulf in quality between our keepers.

Pope was a good signing exactly because it put him and Dubravka in competition. Pope and Darlow isn't that much of an upgrade and leaves us with the same rubbish number 2.

I don't know enough about Barnes. I feel like every time I've seen him he's been an impact sub, but I may have imagined it.

Totally agree but the single signing of Maddison transforms us from upper mid-table to genuine pushers for top 6, imo. Him, Joe and Bruno is an incredible midfield three.
