Playing centre forward and scoring goals while doing it is a specialised and very hard thing to do. We can’t be saying that Gordon/ ASM or anyone else in the squad other than Wilson or Isak can do it. Wilson will get injured; he’s looking like he needs a rest already. You might get away with it for a couple of games (unless you really are a Man City) but look at Chelsea, they’ve got a fantastic squad and Havertz playing up top. Bonkers. In practice I doubt few would disagree, including Ashworth and Howe. But we're not going to have a perfect squad overnight. It's honestly a fucking miracle we shipped out Wood and Shelvey.
