Guest
We must be happy the surgery has sorted him. If it has we've got a gem and the perfect fit for that role. Good defensively, can cross and can play in a back three.
Danh1
Is that Footinsider247 even a decent source? Never believe a word I read from that account tbh. There’s loads like that too
ponsaelius
Arsenal paid £25 million for him straight from Scotland. He has since proven himself a very good PL performer. There's no way he's worth less than that fee now.

He's a cracking player. If we manage to keep him fit thats the LB position sorted for the next 5-7 years.

We'll be our own judges.
The College Dropout
Every Arsenal fan I speak too speaks highly of him. I didn't rate him all that highly but nearly every Arsenal fan rates him which is positive.
Guest
This reminds me of selling Cole to a financially doped Chelsea. We need to protect our interests first. :fwap:

In terms of traditional, overlapping left-backs -when he’s fit- there aren’t many better in the Prem.

Why is £30M too much for him but not enough for the other (assuming your concerns are injury related and not talent)? I’ve never said 30 million isn’t enough for ASM tbf. We won’t get close to that figure for him imo. As for Tierney I think he’s an excellent player but he is a proven crock and spending big money on him is a massive risk and one likely to mean we spend large parts of next season with Burn as LB again. kingxlnc
NUFC need to sign: In priority order Tierney - 33M Veiga - 35M Guler - 15M Szobalai - 60M Min-Jae - 51M Around 200M and it really sorts out the team fully for next year. Possibly 1 striker short, get a young Brazilian as cover. Whatever happened to the Vitor Roque rumours? He would be amazing also - 25-30M? A young South American DM (who was that Argentinian Man City beat us to) - with a view to finding the next Caicedo would be good. I could live without the CB, as there's probably others cheaper who could do a decent job. We could save 20M going with Maddison over Szobalai - don't mind either. The others are musts for our team in my opinion in terms of what we're looking for.
