Nine Posted July 9, 2025 Share Posted July 9, 2025 (edited) I get the feeling this guy is going to have a pretty solid breakout season as far as playing as an out and out striker. He said his desire was to play as one, and you’d have to assume we offered him more of a 10/SS role with maybe a view to playing up top in rotation or when/if Isak leaves which wasn’t quite what Pedro wanted. It seems like the season finished and they went straight into this tournament. Playing in mad conditions. Is it just under 5 weeks until the new season starts?! They won’t be able to just register an entirely different team for their European competition this year. And you’d imagine the league will be just as competitive as last season, if not more so.
