The Butcher
London is fantastic. Remember the first time I went we ended up staying in Kensington. Flash as fuck with expensive cars lined up in the streets, but then you walked for ten minutes and suddenly you felt like you were in the Middle East. Such a fascinating melting pot of all sorts of weirdos and freaks.
Fak
Going to London in a fortnight. Phantom of the Opera.
Bimpy474
Live 35 miles away, and been there countless times. Absolutely shite, can't stand the feckin place. Yes there's sights to see, but overall it's a noisy crowded pile of absolute wank. Just my own opinion, which is a tad biased as I'm not one for crowded hulabaloo. Exceptions being football matches, but that's experience and atmosphere making that different.

Amir_9
Lived in London for just under two years and been countless times before and after. Proper universal city that still maintains a lot of British heritage and culture (might not be the case for someone not used to having anything other than the bubble they live in). Wouldn't have moved out if it wasn't so expensive. Always something to do down there. Mind you also lived in Newcastle for 6 years and loved it for different reasons (same as Glasgow, Manchester and currently Birmingham). Resident gypsy here. Chicken Dancer
I love London me like. It’s class on the piss for aways (and with your Mrs). Obviously if you know where you’re going. Wouldn’t want to live there mind, but I doubt the footballers are going into Central London much.

He said the Osula deal fell through as they wanted to turn it into a loan and that senior people at Frankfurt were genuinely concerned at the Twitter reaction from NUFC fans in response to the £30m fee. Said £130m was always the real fee for Isak. Confirmed the Isak 'promise' was from Stavely and related to Isak's improved contract and not a promise to be sold. The change in Isak's mood was triggered by LFC buying Ekitike. He got worried at that point that his move would not happen. Was generally critical of PIF in not pushing stadium forward or pushing PSR. Said ASM deal was bizarrely difficult as Al Ahli (PIF owned) pushed hard on price. He talked a fair bit about England as he is England reporter for Mail. He said Tuchel absolutely loves Burn and Tuchel plans to use Burn as a set piece cheat code in USA as Tuchel thinks USA will be dominated by set pieces due to heat. Also said Tuchel is really concerned about Kane fitness in USA -i.e. doesn't think he will be able to run. Tuchel also loves Livramento. He hates Paul Mitchell and Steve Bruce

Ketsbaia
London can be class. I miss living there and, if it wasn't for this mortgage, I think we'd cave in and move back.

ponsaelius
Would absolutely love to live in London if I had the coin to have the same spending power and hoose that I do here. Alas that is not achievable - but still love going there to visit. Edited September 5, 2025 by ponsaelius

The comment was probably tongue in cheek as I agree it's unlikely European clubs are basing their scouting strategy on Twitter reactions. That said, as a rule of thumb, gauging the opinion of the selling club's fans is not a bad place to look from experience
