People on here bending over backwards to try and fine reasons why we won't be good. It's OK to say we will be massively improved.

Very harsh result of course. Not sure I've ever seen Arsenal as poor. They were completely dominated.

Having to chose between Onana and Bayindir is like choosing between a punch in the face or a kick in the dick.

Genuinely think you have signed at least 3 good players.

I fear you coming up for the Champions League and European places more than I do for Spurs or Forest.

I think the big question will be is if they do what pretty much every singing you have made in recent years has done, and think they have made it just by being there and start walking through games.

Not got as much of a mention but thought Zubimendi was a bit ordinary and also a bit soft. Was a big reason they weren't able to control the game.

Both Wirtz and Zubimendi in their first games seemed to struggle with the physicality and pace. Be interesting to see how quickly they can make the adjustment.

He was poor, agreed.

Cunha is the main one I was most disappointed to miss out on, (of the 3 they signed ahead of us:anguish:).

He's unique and has incredible speed and running power and comes up with moments out of nothing. Will prove a good signing for them.

Yep. I thought he was very good today.

Arsenal were really poor and still managed to win. Man United looked decent coming forward without ever really looking like they were going to score . Top 6 should be minimum for them this season with all that money they have spent and no Europe .

Man Utd played well but they played like it was a cup game, which you can understand with the historic rivalry with Arsenal.

I don’t see them playing with that intensity every week.

Arsenal were really bad today, shockingly so. Was sure Man Utd would manage at least a point, but despite looking particularly dangerous in transition they weren't able to capitalise.

Ironically, I think this kind of opposition that pushes high up the pitch against them will suit them better, but the problem is most teams aren't going to setup like that against them and give them those kind of opportunities to counter.

I'm looking forward to watching them when they lineup against more run of the mill teams, as I'm not certain they'll look as much of a threat as they did today.

Don't think their central midfield players do a good enough job of getting the ball into their attacking players outside of counter attacks.

Didn't see the game but, Arsenal got the early goal they wanted and just let Man Utd keep it for the rest of the game? Something like that?

nah, Arsenal were genuinely bad and had zero control.

I don't think Arsenal were bad, they were defensively very strong and Man U didn't have much of a sniff. A draw would've probably been a fair result.

Did Schesko (spelling) play?

high quality GIF

Arsenal weren’t great but they weren’t completely dominated. Your lads were a bit better second half but first half was just speculative efforts and Cunha from a very difficult position. Draw would have been fair.

Just got to hope that his attitude, mixed with some classic Man U toxicity behind the scenes sets him back

thats why Eddie likes to intergrate new players gradually.

The whole ‘I need to be shown to grieve’ thing a sad state that society has found itself in. I was actually going to parallel it with the Poppy, and there it is, on there as well.

It lessens the sentiment to other events that require a level of empathy, especially personal ones.

It’s just another form of virtue signalling a lot of the time, some people only do it because they feel it makes them look a better person
