must not forget that we’ve also played City and Chelsea at home and Liverpool, Man U and Spurs away in our first 15 games. Also what on paper are tricky away games at Brighton and Southampton.

1.3 points per game gets us the 60 points which should get Europe. We averaged that last season and we only turned up the second half of it. I think 71 and what we got under Sir Bobby when we finished 4th is realistic. That mightn't get 4th but if we do that we've given ourselves a shot.

Shame we had that patch where we were getting robbed by refs, and didn't have our shooting boots on against Bournemouth and Palace. City and Arsenal built a massive points gap during that month.
